Andre Ashton<br />

“Andre gets the most out <strong>of</strong> his ability. He knows how to compete and has a strong<br />

desire to win.” Coach Walker<br />

Before CSI: A two-spor t athlete at West Jordan High School, Andre lettered<br />

four years in basketball and three in baseball.<br />

His senior season, Andre hit .521, the highest average in school history. He<br />

also earned second team all-state honors.<br />

On the basketball cour t, Andre helped his team to a state championship in<br />

2009. As a senior, he was named honorable mention all-state.<br />

Andre also excelled <strong>of</strong>f the cour t, where he was named academic all-state<br />

in baseball and basketball in 2010.<br />

My favorite expression is: “No guts, no glory.”<br />

If I could be on the cover <strong>of</strong> any magazine it would be; Spor ts Illustrated.<br />

“Cody is a side-arm slinger with a nasty slider. He should get a lot <strong>of</strong> innings for us out<br />

<strong>of</strong> the bullpen. He has a great personality and is always in a good mood.” Coach Welker<br />

Cody White<br />

Before CSI: Cody golfed and played baseball at Timberline High School.<br />

A three-year letterman in baseball, he earned honorable mention all-league<br />

honors as a junior and first team all-league status as a senior. Playing infield<br />

and pitching for THS, Cody was instrumental in his team winning league<br />

championships in 2008 and 2009 and placing four th at state in 2009. His<br />

senior season, Cody finished 6-2 on the mound with two saves.<br />

He was a member <strong>of</strong> the 2008 and 2009 high school golf team that<br />

placed in the top five at state.<br />

I wouldn’t be caught dead in a: nail salon.<br />

Hidden Talent: I can play the saxaphone.<br />

A one-word description <strong>of</strong> myself is: devoted.<br />

I can’t stand the smell <strong>of</strong>: garlic.<br />

I can’t bear the sound <strong>of</strong>: Lady Gaga.<br />
