“Vinny is much improved from last year. He is hard working and very responsible. He will add<br />

<strong>of</strong>fensive depth to our team.” Coach Walker<br />

At CSI: Vinny played in 18 games for CSI his freshman season. He hit .156<br />

with two RBI.<br />

Before CSI: Vincent was a four-year letterman in football and baseball at<br />

Bingham High School, leading each to a region championship and his football<br />

team to a state championship.<br />

As a junior, Vincent hit .424 at the plate in baseball. He followed that up<br />

with a .446 average his senior season.<br />

He earned all-region and all-state accolades in both baseball and football<br />

during his high school career.<br />

Interesting Fact: My friends and I snuck into the 2009 Home Run Derby and sat<br />

in $2,000 seats without getting caught.<br />

One word to describe me is: loveable.<br />

Chris Kerns<br />

“Chris is an extremely talented pitcher with a very bright future. He works very hard on and<br />

<strong>of</strong>f the field.” Coach Welker<br />

At CSI: Chris pitched in 35.2 innings for 15 appearances as a freshman.<br />

He posted a 4.29 ERA with 30 strikeouts.<br />

Before CSI: Chris played football as a sophomore and junior at Timberline<br />

High School and baseball all four years.<br />

He led his teams to four league championships and two district championships.<br />

He helped his team to third-place finishes at state in 2006, 2007 and<br />

2008 and a second-place finish at state in 2009.<br />

Chris earned second team SIC honors as a junior and SIC Player <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Year honors as a senior.<br />

My advice for a 5-year-old would be: to reach for the stars.<br />
