Travis Huber<br />

“Travis has the best “stuff” on our staff. He was drafted by the Marlins after just his first<br />

year <strong>of</strong> focusing on pitching only. He has the ability to pitch for a long time.” Coach<br />

Welker<br />

At CSI: Travis Huber finshed his freshman year as a Golden Eagle with<br />

20 appearances and 31.2 innings <strong>of</strong> work. He posted a 2.27 ERA with 40<br />

strikeouts.<br />

Before CSI: A three-year letterman at West Jordan High School, Travis led<br />

his team to a four th-place finish at state.<br />

During his high school career, Travis was name to the all-region team twice<br />

and second-team all state once. He also was selected to compete in the 5A<br />

all-star game at Lindquist Field.<br />

If I could star t my own restaurant, it would be: a sandwich shop.<br />

Favorite Book: Harry Potter<br />

Funniest Movie: Pineapple Express<br />

I can’t stand the smell <strong>of</strong>: Tyler Duffin.<br />

Favorite Motivational Saying: “A Winners Strongest Muscle is his Hear t.”<br />

I wouldn’t be caught dead in: Yankee Stadium.<br />

One thing I miss about being a kid is: having endless energy.<br />

JC Paquin<br />

“JC gives a strong bat. He is a powerful kid that should add depth to our outfield. He has<br />

a good arm and gives us experience from playing last year.” Coach Walker<br />

At CSI: JC Paquin played in 53 games as a freshman for the Golden<br />

Eagles. He hit .226 with two home runs and 21 RBI.<br />

Before CSI: A Vauxhall <strong>Baseball</strong> Academy graduate, JC helped his team to<br />

a 45-2 record in 2008 and a state championship. His senior season, JC hit<br />

.450 with 11 home runs and 41 RBI.<br />

Outside <strong>of</strong> school, JC competed for Team Canada.<br />

JC also played basketball in high school his freshmen year, leading his team<br />

to a state championship.<br />

A transfer from Middle Georgia <strong>College</strong>, JC came to CSI mid-year.<br />
