Nate BriSLey<br />

Head Diving Coach<br />

Brisley, who will be the Bombers’ first full-time<br />

diving coach, comes to <strong>Ithaca</strong> from Division II<br />

St. Cloud State University, where he served as<br />

head diving coach for the Huskies and was named<br />

NCAA Men’s Diving Coach of the Year in 2008.<br />

He was a three-time recipient of the North Central<br />

Conference Diving Coach of the Year award.<br />

Brisley coached 33 all-America divers – including<br />

two national champions – and 40 all-conference<br />

divers over four years at St. Cloud State.<br />

The former Minnesota state high school champion went on to a distinguished<br />

collegiate career at Division II Drury University, where he was the<br />

NCAA champion on the 3-meter board in 2004 and was named Diver of<br />

the Year that same season. Brisley was an eight-time all-American diver<br />

over his four years at Drury and was a part of the 2003 men’s swimming<br />

& diving national championship team.<br />

marK teDeSchi<br />

Assistant Coach<br />

Tedeschi is entering his second season as a member<br />

of the <strong>Ithaca</strong> coaching staff. Tedeschi was a four-year<br />

letter winner for the Bombers, competing in a variety<br />

of events. He is a three-time Empire 8 champion,<br />

winning the conference title in the 100- and 200yard<br />

breaststroke in 2007 and winning the Empire 8<br />

title in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2006. Tedeschi<br />

recorded six top-seven finishes at the state meet in<br />

2007, including second-place finishes in both the<br />

100- and 200-yard breaststroke. His personal best times of 58.53 in the<br />

100-yard breaststroke and 2:09.74 in the 200-yard breaststroke rank in the<br />

top five of <strong>Ithaca</strong>’s all-time list.<br />

Tedeschi graduated from <strong>Ithaca</strong> in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in<br />

cinema and photography.<br />

emiLy LeSher<br />

Assistant Coach<br />

Lesher completed her first year as an assistant coach<br />

for the Bombers. She is a 2008 graduate of Nazareth<br />

<strong>College</strong> where she was a nine-time All-American,<br />

a two-time Empire 8 Swimmer of the Meet at the<br />

conference championship and the first Swimmer<br />

of the Year in the conference when the award was<br />

presented the first time in 2008. She was also named<br />

Empire 8 Woman of the Year.<br />
