consequences for the people involved, gain insights<br />

into personality types, explore conflict management<br />

styles <strong>and</strong> implementation, examine the<br />

Mediating Workplace Conflict<br />

Disputes between individuals at work can lead to<br />

grievances, absences <strong>and</strong> loss of valuable employees.<br />

Mediation helps people who don't see eye to<br />

eye to sort out their disputes as quickly as possible.<br />

In this workshop you will learn the nature of workplace<br />

disputes, learn skills to approach the situation<br />

<strong>and</strong> move people along to better solutions as<br />

well as identify when mediation is appropriate.<br />

Influencing Others<br />

Good communicators have the ability to influence<br />

others toward a common goal. Participants will<br />

them to effectively persuade, build support for<br />

ideas <strong>and</strong> develop more productive working relationships.<br />

Developing a Respectful Workplace<br />

A respectful work environment creates a healthy<br />

atmosphere for everyone involved. This one-day<br />

workshop will take you through exercises that will<br />

inform you as to what a respectful work<br />

environment is, <strong>and</strong> how to maintain that<br />

environment. Topics will include classifications of<br />

behaviour, respectful workplace barriers,<br />

workplace harassment issues, <strong>and</strong> necessary steps<br />

to create a respectful work environment.<br />
