Espresso for Everyone<br />

Coffee culture has been growing by<br />

leaps <strong>and</strong> bounds in the past 20 years. Cafés<br />

are on every street corner <strong>and</strong> home espresso<br />

machines are de rigueur. Despite this, many<br />

people can’t tell frothy milk foam from creamy<br />

crema or a latte from a cappuccino. This course<br />

offers an opportunity for everyone from café staff<br />

<strong>and</strong> restaurateurs to home baristas <strong>and</strong> coffee<br />

lovers to learn the finer points of espresso<br />

beverages <strong>and</strong> how to make them. Areas of<br />

instruction will include: underst<strong>and</strong>ing roasts, the<br />

importance of the grind, milk steaming techniques<br />

<strong>and</strong> how to run shots. This course will provide you<br />

with h<strong>and</strong>s-on experience using a professional<br />

espresso equipment in a café setting.<br />
