1.3 Fire control systems
Baltimar Boreas is fitted with fire protection, detection and extinction systems
required for a ship of its size. For the machinery spaces, this includes a
detection/alarm system and a fixed fire extinguishing system.
1.3.1 Fire detection and alarm system
Baltimar Boreas has a Salwico fire detection and alarm system to protect the ship’s
