NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital is a 153-bed hospital facility,<br />
celebrating its 34th year of providing leading-edge medical care to<br />
the communities it is privileged to serve. Glenbrook provides such<br />
diverse services as cardiac care, advanced surgical procedures, total<br />
hip and knee replacement and neurological care including a sleep<br />
center, a Parkinson’s disease clinic and a cognitive and memory<br />
disorder program. Children’s at Glenbrook provides outpatient<br />
pediatric services in partnership with Children’s Memorial Hospital.<br />

In addition, Glenbrook offers advanced centers such as the Patricia G.<br />
Nolan Center for Breast Health; Eye and Vision Center for LASIK and<br />
complex eye surgeries; and Simms Family GI lab for digestive disorders<br />
treatment and screening. As a Level II Trauma Center, the Emergency<br />
Department treats complex medical and minor illness and injury.<br />
Glenbrook is in the midst of a major $100 million state-of-the art<br />
construction and expansion project that will enhance its ability to meet<br />
the healthcare needs of the growing communities. It includes the threestory,<br />
90,000 square-foot John and Carol Walter Ambulatory Care<br />
Center to house the John and Carol Walter Center for Urologic Health,<br />
NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center and NorthShore Neurological<br />
Institute. The project also includes a new Interventional Radiology,<br />
MRI and Cardiology Services suite which opens in November 2011.<br />
The entire project is scheduled for completion in 2012.<br />
