flowers, artisan cheeses, bakery goods, honey, spices and more.<br />

Breakfast, lunch and refreshments are available for shoppers on the<br />

Events kick off with a Pancake Breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.<br />

at the Village Green, followed by the annual Police versus Firemen<br />

softball game starting at 10 a.m. at the baseball field, accompanied<br />

by music in the Gazebo from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.<br />

At nearby Techny Prairie Park and Fields, the Liberty Loop 5K race<br />

starts at 7:30 a.m. followed by a one-mile Liberty Lap Fun Run for<br />

ages 4 – 10. All proceeds benefit the 4th of July Association.<br />

A bike parade kicks off at 2 p.m. from the corner of Western and<br />

Cherry followed by the mile-long Northbrook Parade through<br />

downtown at 2:30 p.m. A spectacular fireworks display begins at<br />

sundown, visible from Meadowhill Park and the Velodrome (Maple<br />

Ave east of Waukegan).<br />
