4.3. Navigating in the Menus Chapter 4. Menus The handset controls have the following functions for entering menus and navigating in the menus: Joystick • When not in menu mode: Joystick right to enter the left/right phone's top-level menus, then joystick left/right to browse menus. • In some dialogs: Move cursor when entering a number. Joystick • When not in menu mode: Browse the phone's top- up/down level menus. ← • In a menu: Scroll through a menu. ← • In some dialogs: Scroll through the list of choices. Press joystick/ • In a menu: Enter a submenu or dialog, key labeled "Select" • In a dialog: Confirm the selected option or entered input, and exit the dialog. Return key • In a menu: Exit the menu. • In a dialog: Exit the dialog without changing anything. Key labeled "More" • When not in menu mode: Enter the More menu (containing some Pocket functions). Clear (C) key • In some dialogs: Delete a digit when entering a number. 0-9 keys • In a menu: Select the menu item at the corresponding position in the list. • In some dialogs: Enter numerical values. 35
