• Serve as college partner to Teacher Cadet sites (Currently twenty-one sites)<br />
• Work with the University Supervisors and mentors for field experience and interns<br />
• Serve as liaison for the Richard W. Riley <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> when designated<br />
• Serve as information source for student advising<br />
• Provide development sessions for university faculty and mentor teachers in ADEPT<br />
• Serve as liaison for the Procurement Card System<br />
• Oversee all budgets for the department<br />
• Serve on Teacher <strong>Education</strong> Committee<br />
• Serve as chair <strong>of</strong> the Richard W. Riley <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> Petitions Committee<br />
• Serve as faculty liaison to Undergraduate Student Advisory Committee<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> Instructional Technology Center<br />
The following are the administrative duties <strong>of</strong> the Director <strong>of</strong> Instructional Technology Center:<br />
• Supervises employees<br />
• Manages budgeted funds<br />
• Serves as liaison between university <strong>of</strong>fices<br />
• Manages the technical needs associated with educational technology in the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Education</strong><br />
• Assists in the accreditation process (SACS, NCATE)<br />
• Assists in strategic planning for technology or technology integration each academic year<br />
• Seeks outside funding related to the mission <strong>of</strong> the ITC and the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong><br />
• Teaches two courses in educational technology or technology integration each academic<br />
year<br />
• Advises, coordinates, and/or facilitates technology integration projects in graduate and<br />
undergraduate classes both on and <strong>of</strong>f campus<br />
• Provides technology training to <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> faculty and staff<br />
• Assists faculty with technology projects in public schools<br />
• Maintains <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> Web site<br />
• Stays current in s<strong>of</strong>tware and hardware developments and uses <strong>of</strong> technology as it relates<br />
to the mission <strong>of</strong> the ITC and the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong><br />
• Manages equipment set up for special events<br />
• Other duties as assigned<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> Audio Visual Services<br />
The following are the administrative duties <strong>of</strong> the Director <strong>of</strong> Audio Visual Services:<br />
• Performs multimedia, A/V and audio set-ups (equipment may be fixed or portable)<br />
campus-wide during normal working hours as well as after hours and on weekends for<br />
outside groups on campus, campus departments, student organizations and for the Office<br />
<strong>of</strong> the President. Assists with AV-based equipment for Tillman Auditorium, Barnes<br />
Recital Hall, Byrnes Auditorium, McBryde Hall, Plowden Auditorium, and Johnson<br />
Theater if needed.<br />
