Technical Assistance Panel and guests for the Port of Los Angeles on
Redevelopment of Ports O’Call Village.
Ports O’ Call Village TAP
In February 2008, ULI LA conducted a one day TAP
with the Port of Los Angeles to focus on redevelopment
strategies for the 30-acre Ports O’ Call Village. This panel
was chaired by Eric Natwig of New West Partners. In
March of 2008, ULI LA conducted a 1½ day panel with
the Pasadena Enterprise Center (PEC) that was sponsored
by the City of Pasadena. This panel focused on strategies
to re-energize PEC, a small business incubator, and how
to achieve highest and best use of the organization’s real
property assets. Thus, during this fiscal year five days of
TAPs were conducted by ULI LA focusing on workforce
and affordable housing, commercial and retail development
at the Port of Los Angeles, and the revitalization and
sustainability of a small business incubator.
