No transcript will be issued until all obligations to the school have been met. Official transcripts can be
sent only to other institutions, not to individuals.
Transcript records may be released to other institutions upon the student‘s request provided there is no
financial obligation to the institution.
Transfer Fee
Courses from accredited graduate programs in education in which a grade of B or above has been earned
will normally be accepted in lieu of required or elective courses for transfer credit with the approval of
the department chair and the Office of the Registrar, depending upon the academic standard of the
degree program the student enters.
Withdrawal from School
A student desiring to withdraw from the School of Education before the end of a semester must first
consult with the Dean. After this consultation, an official departure card must be obtained from the
Registrar's Office. For refunds, see current catalog.
STUDENT LIFE
Bookstore and Computer Store
The Biola Bookstore offers a large variety of Bibles, books, music, insignia clothing, greeting cards,
school supplies, magazines, candy and gifts. The Biola Express Store is within the main bookstore and
offers food items, soda, milk, ice cream and sundries. The Computer Store is adjacent to the main
Bookstore and is an authorized Apple Macintosh student dealer with an excellent selection of software
and accessory products sold at competitive prices.
Places to Eat on Campus
In addition to vending machines, you will find four places to purchase food on campus: the Cafeteria
(next to the SOE office), Common Grounds, the Eagle‘s Nest (across from the Bookstore), and the
Talon (in the bottom floor of the business building). Hours of operation will vary, and some places may
be closed for interterm and summer sessions.
