Needs manual fix of screen resolution to a widescreen ratio.
The game is very playable at 720p, staying above 30fps.
Amazed this game needs a 2.4ghz C2D at all! - FURTHER
NOTE: Did see the game drop below 30fps but not for long.
Just kept getting poor framerates even though the game was
whitelisted in the Nvidia control panel. Possibly a something
to do with the Nvidia driver or the game itself.
Another physics heavy game. FPS suffers because of it on
the M11x.
Game would not start with older drivers. Textures are low-res
even though set to Ultra-high. Tested with v1.02.
Game stretches video to 16:9 from 4:3 and out of proportion.
Play in window mode. Dialogue will not be played due file
format incompatibility with Win 7 and needs to be
reconverted for Win 7 suitable format.
Game stretches video to 16:9 from 4:3 and out of proportion.
Play in window mode.
Disable PhysX...for the love of....Disable PhysX!
FPS seems to be capped and drops to 20fps to where it
becomes unplayable. Not patched at time of testing.
Title cards at the start of the SP campaign is in 4:3 with
actual game rendering behind it.
The game is very physics heavy and anything physics related
and the framerate just drops to where it becomes unplayable
very early on. The M11x just can't handle the physics in the
game.
The Chrome engine seems to be very unoptimised causing it
to perform badly on the M11x: even with the game set to the
lowest settings.
Game only accepts 4:3 resolutions but can be modded to
work in 16:9. Search for “Resolution” on SplinterCellUser.ini
720p only supported widescreen res for the m11x.
Framerates are good. This is the steam version running
without the Starforce DRM.
Game has no other graphical settings – just resolution
options
The game just seems to be running terribly even when the
settings are low.
