SUBJECT: Three-Year Independent Contractor Agreement with<br />
MetroMobile Communications (ACTION)<br />
REQUESTED ACTION: That the Board of Education approve a Three-Year Independent<br />
Contractor Agreement with MetroMobile Communications in an<br />
amount not to exceed $67,500 to maintain and supply two-way<br />
radios, and emergency radio systems, and repeaters during the<br />
20<strong>09</strong>-<strong>10</strong>, 20<strong>10</strong>-11 and 2011-12 school years.<br />
BACKGROUND: MetroMobile Communications will be responsible for two-way<br />
radios, emergency radios systems, and repeaters for all SJUSD<br />
departments and sites. They will repair, supply, troubleshoot, and<br />
pick-up/deliver radios as needed.<br />
