Lost and stolen
Unfortunately, a number of students in previous semesters have experienced theft of
money, either whilst they have attended evening activities or during shopping in town.
For a happier stay in Copenhagen, we would like to advise all exchange students not to
travel around Copenhagen or go to social activities with large amounts of cash on them.
Please leave traveller’s cheque; extra cash, extra credit cards etc. at home in a safe place,
preferably under lock and key. If your property is stolen, you can file a report at your
local police station or contact the central police station:
