Used in Calibration Mode to select the value of the Formazin calibration standard and to initiate<br />

measurement of the standard. Pressing ENTER during measurement with Signal Averaging on<br />

clears the buffer of all previous data. Selects functions during instrument setup and Flow-Cell setup.<br />

Selects an edited sample number. Initiates zeroing in the Color Unit mode. Initiates zeroing<br />

measurement in the %T and Absorbance modes.<br />

Advances the cursor position during calibration standard editing, instrument setup and sample<br />

number selection. Also, used to ignore dilution water turbidity during calibration (if required).<br />

Edits LED digits in the calibration mode and steps through calibration standards 00 through 05<br />

(in the mode display). Edits the “SETUP” number (in the mode display) during the instrument setup<br />

procedure. Increments the sample number (in the mode display).<br />

Initiates editing of the sample number shown in the Mode display (green LED).<br />

Annunciator lights to indicate Sample mode is selected.<br />

Displays calibration standard number, setup parameter number or sample number.<br />

Pressing the up or down arrow key increments or decrements the sample number by one during<br />

measurement mode. The sample number is included on the time- and date-stamped measurement<br />

printout.(ThesamplenumberalsoiseditedbypressingtheSAMPLE key.)<br />

Lighted annunciator indicates when the instrument lamp is on.<br />

Flashes to indicate a low-level light condition.<br />

Lights to indicate the calibration information recorded during the calibration process is outside of the<br />

acceptable range (may be an operator calibration error or an instrument malfunction).<br />

The instrument must be recalibrated if the CAL? annunciator flashes.<br />

Selects Auto Ranging or Manual Ranging.<br />

Pressing RANGE steps the instrument through the range options.<br />

11 Manual Range Lighted annunciator indicates when the instrument is in the manual ranging mode.<br />

12 Auto Range Lighted annunciator indicates when the instrument is in the automatic ranging mode.<br />
