monitor that must be purchased locally. Please refer to the brochure or InfoCenter for PC and Monitor specifications.
Aficio 240W Notes:
(1) Applicable to Roll Feeder Types 240A and B: The Table Type 240 provides manual copy sheet feeding and includes copy stacking but
no rolls or paper tray automatic feeding.
(2) Applicable to Roll Feeder Types 240A and B: One roll table cannot be upgraded to a two roll table.
(3) Hard Disk Drive is needed to support sorting, stamping image, format overlay, and job pre-set.
(4) Paper Cassette Type 240 only available with a one or two roll feeder.
(5) Applicable to Interface PCB Type 240: RW-240 Interface Kit is required to support the separate RW-240 Printer Controller.
(6) Stamp Board is the same as is used for the Aficio 470W.
(7) Applicable to Roll Feeder Types 240A and : Roll holders are interchangeable among FW770/FW780/ Aficio 470/Aficio 240.

(11) The CGM Option (Computer Graphics Metafile) is a paper "TAN" coupon. Do no discard; it is necessary for printing the CGM file
format commonly used by Department of Defense related businesses or government agencies.
480W Notes:
(1) The embedded scanner option allows scanning to email or folder directly from the copier
(2) Roll Feeder Type 480 can increase the total roll capacity for 2 rolls to 4 rolls
(3) Paper Cassette Type 480 can add two cassette trays to hold up to 18" x 24" ( C Size)
(4) RW-480 Controller provides printing capablity to the copier. A PC server is needed and must be purchased from a third party.
(5) RW-480 Scan option is only a paper "TAN" coupon in a box. Do not lose it or pay full price for replacement. It is necessary for registering and
releasing the scanning software on the RW-480 Controller.
(6) The RW480 PostScript option is a paper "TAN" coupon. Do not lose it or pay full price for replacement. It is necessary for releasing the PostScript
software for printing PDFs and scanning to PDF.
(7) The CGM Option (Computer Graphics Metafile) is a paper "TAN" coupon. Do not lose it. It is necessary for printing the CGM file format commonly

(8) RW-480 DWG/DXF/DWF Requires RW- 480 Controller. Allows printing AutoCAD documents without the application and scanning to DWF when
purchased with the RW-480 Scan option.
(9) Roll holders are interchangeable among FW770/FW780/ Aficio 240 and the 480W. They provide additional flange inserts to be used for extra paper
rolls.
(10) The Original/Copy Catch Tray is an adjustable tray. It can be used for either catching originals or copies/prints and can be used on the 480W and
240W
(11) Interface Board Type B is used with the embedded scanner for faster data transmission (up to 400 Mbps) than the standard 10/100 Base T
transmission (230Kbps) comes with it. Used for scanning, not printing.
(12) Interface Unit Type H supports wireless network environments . Maximum data throughput is up to 11Mbps. It cannot be use concurrently with
10/100 Base T interface. Used only for scanning not printing
(13) Data Overwrite Security Unit D erases temporary data in the copier HDD by overwriting it. Data overwritten: Copy jobs, scanned files sent by e-mail
or to a folder; Documents sent or received by using Web Image Monitor, DeskTop Binder Lite or Scan Router; Temporary data that still remains in
Document Server after user erases the document from Document Server
(14) Java Card required when a dealer/branch customer wants to use a Ricoh Partner's software application on this main frame. The VM card resides
on the main frame and interfaces with the Ricoh partner's installed software. It does not apply to print controller functions
