45.3 In case of any variation in rates quoted for similar items in different sub heads of work for the same package/work , the lowest of the rates quoted shall be payable irrespective of the sub heads. 46. AFFIDAVIT The bidder shall submit an affidavit duly notarized to the effect “that the document submitted by him are true and genuine and in case of any discrepancy noticed or observed at any stage the bidder shall be personally responsible not only for the damages or loss to GAIL, but also for criminal proceedings under the relevant laws”. 47. TENDER NO.: GAIL/PATA/CVL/TS-BURN WARD/002/2007 Name of Work: Construction Of Burn Ward at Dhanvantri Hospital, GAIL GAON , Dibiyapur, Distt. Auraiya(U.P). SCOPE OF WORK The work is to be executed inside GAIL GAON township, Dibiyapur The scope of work shall include but not limited to items mentioned in Schedule of Rates and Quantities (SOQR), drawings and instruction & direction of EIC. The scope involves execution of civil and electrical works for Construction Of Burn Ward at Dhanvantri Hospital, GAIL GAON , Dibiyapur, Distt. Auraiya(U.P). The new building for the burn ward is to be constructed within the existing complex of hospital (bounded by separate compound wall) in GAIL GAON , therefore, utmost care shall be taken by the contractor regarding safety of the various parts of the existing building and its occupants including suitable measures for controlling the noise in the complex (if required) and work may have to be carried out occasionally in other than regular shifts as per the convenience of the occupants . Suitable barricading may be erected wherever required and work shall be carried out without much disturbance to the existing building. Nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for making arrangements for the additional measures as required above. The electrical work (as given in the SOQR) shall be carried out by Electrical Agency to be hired by main civil contractor. The electrical agency shall be got approved by Electrical Department, Estate Office , GAIL GAON before the start of electrical works. The above gives the general scope of work, however tenderer is supposed to acquaint himself of various items as detailed in SOQR. Tenderer may also visit the site before quoting their rates to asses the nature of work. 31
