The experience criteria of those bidders (who have worked as subcontractors)
may be considered as meeting the BEC subject to their
submitting the following documents:
i) Copy of work order issued by the client to principal contractor / copy of
agreement between client and principal contractor.
ii) Documentary evidence indicating that principal contractor had sought the
approval from the client before the work was sub-contracted to the subcontractor.
iii) Copy of work order issued by the principal contractor to the sub-contractor
for the sub-contracted work / copy of agreement between principal contractor
and the sub-contractor.
iv) Copy of Completion certificate issued by principal contractor to sub-contractor
for successful completion of the work .
v) Copy of a certificate issued by the client to the sub-contractor that the
sub-contracted work has been completed by the sub-contractor as per
specification and satisfaction of the client.
All the above documents duly attested are required to be submitted in
support of meeting the experience criteria of BEC.
(9) Bidders /contractors shall also submit an affidavit (along with their offer) duly
notarized to the effect “that the documents submitted by them are true and
genuine and in case of any discrepancy noticed or observed at any stage the
bidder/contractor shall be personally responsible not only for the damages or
loss to GAIL, but also for criminal proceedings under relevant laws”.
(10) SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids are to be submitted separately in two parts in sealed envelope
superscribed with the tender no., due date, item and nature of bid (Priced or
Un-priced) as follows:
PART-I :- UN-PRICED BID (TECHNO-COMMERCIAL BID)
The Un-priced bid must be complete with all technical and commercial details
other than rate (i.e. identical to Part-II with rate blanked out) but along-with
EMD/Bid bond and documentary evidences sought under this tender
documents including filled up/completed annexure VI & VII.
