The experience criteria of those bidders (who have worked as subcontractors)<br />

may be considered as meeting the BEC subject to their<br />

submitting the following documents:<br />

i) Copy of work order issued by the client to principal contractor / copy of<br />

agreement between client and principal contractor.<br />

ii) Documentary evidence indicating that principal contractor had sought the<br />

approval from the client before the work was sub-contracted to the subcontractor.<br />

iii) Copy of work order issued by the principal contractor to the sub-contractor<br />

for the sub-contracted work / copy of agreement between principal contractor<br />

and the sub-contractor.<br />

iv) Copy of Completion certificate issued by principal contractor to sub-contractor<br />

for successful completion of the work .<br />

v) Copy of a certificate issued by the client to the sub-contractor that the<br />

sub-contracted work has been completed by the sub-contractor as per<br />

specification and satisfaction of the client.<br />

All the above documents duly attested are required to be submitted in<br />

support of meeting the experience criteria of BEC.<br />

(9) Bidders /contractors shall also submit an affidavit (along with their offer) duly<br />

notarized to the effect “that the documents submitted by them are true and<br />

genuine and in case of any discrepancy noticed or observed at any stage the<br />

bidder/contractor shall be personally responsible not only for the damages or<br />

loss to <strong>GAIL</strong>, but also for criminal proceedings under relevant laws”.<br />

(10) SUBMISSION OF BIDS<br />

Bids are to be submitted separately in two parts in sealed envelope<br />

superscribed with the tender no., due date, item and nature of bid (Priced or<br />

Un-priced) as follows:<br />

PART-I :- UN-PRICED BID (TECHNO-COMMERCIAL BID)<br />

The Un-priced bid must be complete with all technical and commercial details<br />

other than rate (i.e. identical to Part-II with rate blanked out) but along-with<br />

EMD/Bid bond and documentary evidences sought under this tender<br />

documents including filled up/completed annexure VI & VII.<br />
