In memoriam Peter Brooks Peter Brooks left a major imprint on NSCAD University, in a career that spanned a quarter of a century. He died on June 17 at age 52, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Also an alumnus, Peter (BD 80) was our longtime director of Visual Communication Services. As a Regular Part Time faculty member, he taught printing techniques, digital pre-press and graphic technology. In the Printshop, he maintained a high standard of excellence and efficiency, and students and staff alike relied on his expertise and attention to detail. Peter was invaluable to NSCAD’s own printing needs — he printed the vast majority of invitations to exhibitions at Anna Leonowens Gallery, and thousands of degree parchments over the years. He will be deeply missed.
