ALUMINIUM WINDOWS (OPENABLE) : Providing and fixing 15 micron colour anodised/ powder
coated aluminium glazed windows with 5 mm glass & extruded built up section of wall thickness
not less than 1.4 mm and approved make with glass panel fixed to side -hung shutter with
aluminium snap beading and neoprene / PVC gasket / CP Brass /stainless steel screws fixed to
the wall with requisite rawl plugs and screw or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fasteners
including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions at top , bottom and sides with requisite PVC /
neoprene felt / polysulphide sealant/silicon sealant including heavy duty handle cum locking
arrangement etc all complete as per architectural drawing and the direction of Engg.In-charge.

arrangements etc. complete. The track section shall be as follows:
Two Track Window: Top & Side - 8931-1.5 mm thick @ 0.784 kg/m; Bottom (Bulb) - 8932- 1.5 mm

including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top , bottom and sides with requisite PVC /
neoprene felt/ polysulphide sealant/silicon sealant all complete as per architectural drawing and
the direction of Engg. In-charge. Aluminium section of JINDAL make or equivalent make with the
following sections : Outer frame sections - 4688- 63.5x38.1x1.65 of weight 0.942 kg/m.
Intermediate frame - 4687- 63.5x38.1x1.53 of weight 0.942 kg/m. Glass panels used shall not be
less than 2.4 m (height) x 1.2 m (width). All the joints shall be provided with Aluminium sections as
specified.
Door:
Outer side frame - 4550 - 47.62x44.45x1.52 of weight 0.881 kg/m.
Bottom frame - 4553 - 95.25x44.45x1.70 of weight 1.301 kg/m
Intermediate frame - 4621- 49.91x44.45x1.60 of weight 0.882 kg/m.
Clip- 4420- 19x17.3x0.9 of wt. 0.124 Kg/m.
The floor spring strut shall be fixed and accommodated in Aluminium section groove. The door
shall be provided with die cast aluminium handle, towerbolt, locking arrangement etc. complete.
The joints and gaps shall be treated with silicon sealant to stop water ingress and glass surfaces
shall be cleaned neat of left over sealant. Approved Make of Glass: AIS, Modi, Saint Gobain,
Triveni. In case of non-availability, approved equivalent make for Al sections is JINDAL. Approval
of Engg.-In-Charge shall be taken before using equivalents matching next higher dimensions and
weight per running metre without extra cost.

STEEL WINDOWS : Supply, fabrication and fixing of MS glazed windows using approved Z
sections with 5mm plain glass including providing grill with 12mm square bar @100mm c/c ,
painting with two coats of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint, handle , stay
arrangement etc. complete.

STEEL DOORS : Supply, fabrication and fixing of MS Door using 35x35x5 angle frame and
25x25x3 angle members including bracings with 16 gauge MS sheet stitch welded to Door shutter
frame complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge painting with two coats of red oxide primer
and two coats of synthetic enamel paint, handle , stay arrangement ,tower bolt etc. complete.
