If necessary, surface unevenness shall be filled up with brick ballast manually compacted with watering etc. complete as per instructions of Engg.- In-Charge without extra cost. Basic rate : Not lower than Rs. 500/sqm. 81 EUROCON TILE-WALKWAY NLT 400 SM 990.55 Same as above item but for treads and risers Basic rate: Not lower than Rs. 400/sqm 82 WATER PROOFING BY BITUMEN FELT SM 408.83 Water proofing with bitumen felts as per specifications (Bitumen of Shalimar or equivalent make as approved by EIC)- Scrapping, removing old bituminised surface, if any, by chisel, etc, cleaning the surface thoroughly with wire brush and duster and providing water proofing as per specification. Applying one coat of bitumen primer, applying hot bitumen 30/40 @ 1.2kg/SQM. Supplying and laying bitumen felt conforming to IS:1322 in lengths at right angles to the direction of the run of the gradient, starting at the lowest level and overlap of 75mmfor adjacent layers, overlap at end of strip of felt should be 100mm. Parapet joints to be suitably fillated and the feltto to be taken upto a minimum heuight of 225mm on the parapet. Scope of job includes breaking of parapet plaster upto min 225mm making chases before the felto and finally plastering the surface upto the felto height. 83 BRICKBAT TERRACE WATER PROOF. SM 380.01 BRICKBAT COBA ON TERRACE Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing of average 100 mm thick as per specifications given. The job includes Cleaning of RCC slab and applying neat cement slurry mixed with waterproofing compound, providing and laying brickbat coba in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound and curing for a period of 24 hours, laying of 25 mm thick PCC 1:1.5:3 mix with 6 mm and down size coarse aggregate and water proofing compound, finishing smooth, making half round vata at the junction of parapet wall and slab and curing for 10 days. NOTE:- Contractor to submit a guarantee in respect of performance of waterproofing ,for 10 years on a Stamp-paper. Further , @10% of job amount shall be retained for 2 years as retention money , returnable after retention period without interest . Approved brands of waterproofing compound are : CICO/ACCOPROOF/IMPERMO. 84 CHAJJA WATER PROOFING SM 292.66 Water proofing on top of chhaja with 25mm thick PCC 1:1.5:3 with 6mm and down size stone aggregate mixed with water proofing compound, finishing smooth, making half round vata at the junction of chhaja and wall , curing etc. complete. 85 WHITE WASH SM 14.41 All material required for execution of painting work shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturers and shall be brought to the sites in their drums / cans / bags etc with seals unbroken. No thinner shall be used unless approved by Engg.-In-Charge. The paint shall be applied by using brush, roller or spraying as directed. The paint etc shall be applied only after proper surface preparation by removing all dirt, dust, mortar droppings, another foreign matter, loose scale by using brooms, wire brush, sand paper etc as per requirement and direction complete. All holes, cracks, patches etc shall be made good with material similar to that of the surface. The painting shall be applied in specified coats or more so as to obtain the desired finish. If additional coats are required to obtain uniform and smooth finish, the same shall be carried out at no extra cost. The job includes provision of scaffolding using safety precautions, curing etc as required. WHITEWASH Providing and applying 3 coats of white wash to plastered and concrete surfaces including providing necessary scaffolding, surface preparation , mixing DDL binder, blue etc. complete as per IS: 712- Latest Edition. If additional coats are required to obtain uniform and smooth finish, the same shall be carried out at no extra cost. 86 OIL BOUND DISTEMBER SM 58.53 OIL BOUND DISTEMPER Providing and applying 2 coats ( first coat with brush and final coat with Roller) of OBD of approved make and shade on all surfaces and heights to give an even shade including primimg coat and full putty after thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar dropping and other foreign matter and also including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth etc., all material and labour complete.
