Supplying , erecting and fixing in position Pre- fabricated structures at all elevations for service bay<br />

using structural steel sections conforming to IS:2062 , including cutting, welding or bolting, supply<br />

of bolts/nuts/washers etc., complete as per drawings including surface preparation and applying<br />

one coat of Zinc Phosphate Primer before erection and two coats of synthetic enamel paint as per<br />

specification after erection and all materials and labour complete. ( No welding is permitted at site).<br />

The rate quoted shall include cost of bolts, nuts, washers, welding and electrodes and any other<br />

consumables required for completing the work. The bolts , nuts , washers, welds etc shall not be<br />

separately measured and paid for.<br />

Providing & Fixing in position 8' HT GI sheet ( 22 swg) with angle support (50x50x5 mm ) at every<br />

2.4 m c/c and horizontal support of 40x40x5 angle at equal distance for 8' ht &. The Job includes<br />

grouting vertical angle supports in RCC 1:2:4, fixing the sheets with necessaru J hooks, painting<br />

with synthetic enamel paint in Yellow and Black strip combination, and dismantling & disposing off<br />

the entire material after completion of work.<br />

125 GY. BOARD FALSE CEILING SM 730.31<br />

Providing and fixing Gyp board false ceiling with required accessories INDIA GYPSUM make<br />

including painting with two coats of plastic emulsion paint. 12.5 mm thick 'Gypboard' shall be<br />

screw-fixed to the underside of suspended GI grid. GI grid shall be installed as per manufacturer's<br />

specifications. GI grid shall consist of ceiling sections (India Gypsum Code no. MF5) at maximum<br />

c/c distance 450 mm, Perimeter channel (India Gypsum code no. MF6A), intermediate channels<br />

(India Gypsum code no. MF7) at maximum c/c distance 1200 mm.<br />

The ceiling sections should be fixed to intermediate channels with connecting clips (India Gypsum<br />

code no. ME9). GI grid shall be fixed to RCC slab above with the help of 25x0.5 mm strap hanger<br />

(India Gypsum code no. MF 8) and soffit cleat (India Gypsum code no. P534). The joints between<br />

soffit cleat and strap hanger and GI grid & strap hanger shall be with 6.4x12.7 mm nut and bolt<br />

(India Gypsum code no. P526). Soffit cleat shall be fixed to RCC ceiling with W.E. type 12 mm dia,<br />

17/16" long steel rawl plug. Maximum c/c distance (both ways) of strap hangers shall be 1200 m.<br />

The Gypboard shall be fixed fixed to GI grid with 25 mm long Drawall screws. The Gypboard to be<br />

used shall be 12.5 mm thick tapered edge boards. The boards shall be taped & filled from<br />

underside to ceiling.<br />

The rate shall be inclusive of additional ceiling sections and intermediate channels shall be<br />

provided at openings for light fixtures, AC ducts, vertical drops, offsets etc Additional intermediate<br />

channels shall be fixed to strap hangers at every 1200 mm for additional support to prevent strap<br />

hangers from buckling/swaying. Item to be completed in all respect including necessary sleeves for<br />

ducts , finishing of joint cut outs, supports for AC grills, light fixtures, speakers etc. complete as per<br />

directions of Engg.-In-Charge.<br />

126 MINARAL FIBRE FALSE CEILLING ( ARMSTRONG) SM 959.03<br />

Providing and fixing Mineral Fibre board false ceiling ( Armstrong Make) with required<br />

accessories including fixing of the GI channels (18 guage), fixing of the sheets in pattern , in<br />

proper line & level, filling the joint with sealent etc. complete as per the satisfaction of EIC.<br />

127 ACOUSTIC. SUSP. CEILING BUTT.. SM 915.81<br />

Providing & Fixing of Armstrong Acoustical Suspended Ceiling System with Fissured Tiles having<br />

butt edges . The tiles should have Humidity Resistance of 90% RH, Average NRC .50, Light<br />

Reflectance >80%, Thermal Conductivity k = 0.052 – 0.057 w/m°c, Colour White, Fire<br />

Performance Class 0/Class 1 (BS - 476) in module size of 600mm x 600mm x 15mm laid on 24XL -<br />

Hot Dipped Galvanised steel suspension System having rotary stitching on the Main Runner, 1200<br />

mm & 600 mm Cross Tees.<br />

INSTALLATION: To comprise main runner spaced at 1200mm centres securely fixed to the<br />

structural socket by approved hanger at 1200mm maximum centre. The last hanger at the end of<br />

each main runner should not be greater than 450mm from the adjacent wall.<br />

Flush fitting 1200mm long cross tees to be interlocked between main runners at 600mm centre to<br />

form 1200 x 600 mm module. Cut cross tees longer than 600mm require independent support.<br />

600 x 600mm module to be formed by fitting 600mm long flush fitting cross tees centrally between<br />

the 1200 mm cross tees.<br />

Perimeter trim to be Armstrong wall angles or channel, secured to walls at 450 mm max. C/c<br />

For fissured RH 90 Butt Edge.<br />
