Overview
The Orange County Transportation Authority needs to seal coat and restripe
the existing asphalt pavement at the Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana
bus bases. Bids were received in accordance with the Orange County
Transportation Authority’s public works procurement procedures. Board of
Directors’ approval is requested to execute the agreement.
Recommendation
Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute Agreement No. C-3-1425
between the Orange County Transportation Authority and
United Paving Company, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, in
the amount of $61,867, for seal coat and striping at the Anaheim,
Garden Grove, and Santa Ana bus bases.

Overview
On March 11, 2013, the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of
Directors approved a cooperative agreement with the California Department of
Transportation for construction management support services for the
Interstate 5 high-occupancy vehicle improvement project between
Pacific Coast Highway and San Juan Creek Road. At this time, an
amendment is required to include the construction capital and support costs
for the project.
