UN/EDIFACT D93.A ORDHIR - Order message for hire working 3.4.2 Message description - Heading section Information to be or which can be provided in the heading section of the message. Segment UNH, Message Header A service segment starting and uniquely identifying a message. The message code forthe EUROFER Orders message is "ORDERS". Note : Order messages complying with this document must contain the following data in the segment UNH composite data element S009 with data elements ; - 0065 ORDERS - 0052 A - 0054 D93 - 0051 EF - 0057 ORDHIR Segment BGM, Beginning of message A segment by which the sender uniquely identifies the Order message by means of its type and number. Segment DTM, Date/time/period A segment specifying general dates and/or when relevant dates/times/periods related to the whole message. This segment must exist at least once to identify the date of issue ofthe order. Segment group 1 : RFF-DTM A segment group for giving references and where necessary, their dates, relating to the whole message, e.g. Contract number of the hire working. Segment RFF, Reference A segment identifying the reference by its number and where appropriate, a line number within the document. Segment DTM, Date/time/period A segment specifying the date/time related to the reference. Segment group 2 : NAD-LOC-FII-SG3-SG4-SG5 A group of segments identifying the parties relevant to the whole Order message. Eurofer has decided to use only the segment NAD and the segment LOC of this group. The other segments for giving associated information should not be used. Segment NAD, Name and address A segment identifying name and address of parties and their function relevant to the whole Order message. The name and address can be given in a coded or clear form. Identification of the sender (service requester) and the receiver party (service provider) is mandatory for the Order message. They are to be given in the NAD segment. 27
UN/EDIFACT D93.A ORDHIR - Order message for hire working Segment LOC, Place/location identification A segment giving more specific location information of the party specified in the NAD segment e.g. internal site/building number. Segment group 9 : TDT-SG10 A group of segments identifying the mode and means of transport, location and relevant dates and times for transportation, relating to the whole order. Segment TDT, Details of transport A segment specifying the mode, means and identification of the transport for the goods being ordered. If required, the carrier's address should be indicated within the NAD segment group. Segment group 10 : LOC-DTM A group of segment giving the location and date/time information relative to the transportation. Eurofer has decided to use only the segment LOC of this group. The other segment for giving associated information should not be used. Segment LOC, Place/location identification A segment identifying locations relevant to the transport specified in the TDT segment e.g. place of destination. Segment group 11 : TOD-LOC A group of segments indicating the terms of delivery for the whole Order. Segment TOD, Terms of delivery A segment identifying the delivery terms to be used e.g. UN INCOTERMS code could be used to specify the delivery terms. Segment LOC, Place/location identification A segment identifying locations relevant to the delivery terms specified in the TOD segment. 28
