Segment MEA, Measurements<br />
A segment specifying physical measurements of packages described in the PAC<br />
segment.<br />
Segment group 31 : PCI-RFF-DTM-GIN<br />
A group of segments specifying the markings and labels on individual physical<br />
units.<br />
<strong>Eurofer</strong> has decided to use only the segments PCI and GIN of this group. The<br />
other segments <strong>for</strong> giving associated in<strong>for</strong>mation should not be used.<br />
Segment PCI, Package identification<br />
A segment specifying markings and labels used on individual physical units<br />
(packages) described in the PAC segment.<br />
Segment GIN, Goods identity number<br />
A segment identifying the number or ranges of numbers <strong>for</strong> use with the package<br />
markings, e.g. Serial numbers.<br />
Segment group 34 : NAD-LOC-SG35-SG36-SG37<br />
A group of segments identifying the parties, relevant to the line item only. <strong>Eurofer</strong><br />
has decided to use only the segment NAD and the segment LOC of this group.<br />
The other segment groups <strong>for</strong> giving associated in<strong>for</strong>mation should not be used.<br />
Segment NAD, Name and address<br />
A segment identifying name and address of the parties and their function relevant<br />
to the line item.<br />
The name and address can be given in a coded or clear <strong>for</strong>m.<br />
Segment LOC, Place/location identification<br />
A segment giving more specific location in<strong>for</strong>mation of the party specified in the<br />
NAD segment e.g. internal site/building number.<br />
Segment group 44 : TDT-SG45<br />
A group of segments identifying the mode and means of transport, location and<br />
relevant dates and times <strong>for</strong> transportation, relating to the line item.<br />
Segment TDT, Details of transport<br />
A segment specifying the mode, means and identification of the transport <strong>for</strong> the<br />
goods being ordered. If required, the carrier's address should be indicated within<br />
the NAD segment group.<br />
Segment group 45 : LOC-DTM<br />
A group op segment giving the location and date/time in<strong>for</strong>mation relative to the<br />
transportation.<br />
<strong>Eurofer</strong> has decided to use only the segment LOC of this group. The other<br />
segment <strong>for</strong> giving associated in<strong>for</strong>mation should not be used.<br />
