Study CATIA online at your own pace in the comfort of your home or work setting. The
curriculum is web-based and includes video demonstrations and interactive lab exercises
using the CATIA simulation program. You can enroll and start a class at any time. You
have 90 days to complete the five course package and 21 days to complete an individual

understand common troubleshooting and maintenance techniques. Learn the necessary
information for networking technologies, installation and common network problem areas.
Topics also include media access control methods, topologies, cabling, ethernet, Token
Ring, ARCnet, TCP/IP protocol, basic network software architecture, servers/protocol drivers,
hardware drivers, and computing models. Prerequisite: fundamental understanding of

MAChINE OPERATOR CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
The Machine Operator Certificate is designed to prepare participants to work in entry
level positions as machine operators. Content includes theory and hands-on experience
with manual and CNC machining equipment, machine tools, machinist application math,
blueprint reading and precision measurement.
BlUePRint ReaDing essentials (1.5 CeUs)
This course is designed to fulfill an entrance prerequisite for the Machine Operation
Essentials course, providing an introduction to/refresher in the basics of blueprints and
engineering drawings as used in the manufacturing trades. Presented as a hybrid class,
combining online training with instructor lecture and guided practice. Fee: $650

Whether for personal or business reasons, bookkeeping is a necessary part of life. This
course is designed as an overview of key concepts, bookkeeping practices, and terminology
that will help you better utilize bookkeeping software (i.e. QuickBooks, Peachtree, and
others). It is not meant to teach you how to become a bookkeeper. Topics include the
accounting cycle, starting with an introduction of basic accounting terms and record
keeping rules. You will be introduced to double-entry accounting (debits and credits);
cash versus accrual accounting; chart of accounts and ledgers; and accounts receivable
and accounts payable accounting. You’ll also review how to reconcile your bank account
and create financial statements (profit and loss, owner’s equity, and balance sheet).

QuickBooks is designed to help improve your business productivity by saving you time
and money. Learn to manage customers and vendors while gaining hands-on experience
with invoicing, receiving and depositing payments, entering bills, and writing checks.
Reconcile your bank and credit card statements and explore basic reports and financial
statements. This course is designed for small business owners, bookkeepers, accountants,
and others needing to learn how to use QuickBooks to manage their business efficiently.
Textbook/desk reference included ($55 value). Prerequisite: Proficiency with navigating
Windows, drop-down menus, the keyboard and mouse. Bookkeeping Basics course is highly
recommended but not required. Instructor assumes students have bookkeeping experience/
knowledge and will not spend time on bookkeeping concepts. This course qualifies for
12 CPE credits recognized by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Fee: $295
