The total Pensions Liability relating to Central Scotland Joint Fire and Rescue Board is £135.722m, as per the latest valuation.<br />

The total Pensions Liability relating to Central Scotland Joint Police Board is £462.498m, as per the latest valuation.<br />

3. Disclosure of Interest in Other Entities<br />

The <strong>Council</strong> has adopted the recommendations of Chapter 9 of the Code, which requires local authorities to consider their interest in all<br />

types of entity to incorporate into Group Accounts.<br />

A full set of Group Accounts, in addition to the <strong>Council</strong>’s Accounts has been prepared which incorporates material balances from<br />

identified associates.<br />

The Financial Statements in the Group Accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Accounting Policies set out in the Accounting<br />

Policies on pages 10 to 29.<br />

4. Group Entities<br />

For the purpose of consolidation and incorporation within the Group Accounts, the <strong>Council</strong> has two Subsidiaries Company (<strong>Falkirk</strong><br />

Community Stadium Ltd and <strong>Falkirk</strong> Community Trust Ltd) and three Associates (Central Scotland Joint Fire & Rescue Board, Central<br />

Scotland Joint Police Board and Central Scotland Joint Valuation Board).<br />

Central Scotland Joint Fire and Rescue Board<br />

This Board is jointly administered by the <strong>Council</strong>s of Clackmannanshire, <strong>Falkirk</strong> and Stirling and provides fire and rescue services to the<br />

constituent authorities. The accounting period is to 31 March. <strong>Falkirk</strong> <strong>Council</strong> is requisitioned for 52.3% of expenditure, based on<br />

adjusted population. The <strong>accounts</strong> are available on the Board’s website (www.centralscotlandfire.gov.uk).<br />

Central Scotland Joint Police Board<br />

This Board is jointly administered by the <strong>Council</strong>s of Clackmannanshire, <strong>Falkirk</strong> and Stirling and provides police services to the<br />

constituent authorities. The accounting period is to 31 March. <strong>Falkirk</strong> <strong>Council</strong> is requisitioned for 51.7% of expenditure, based on Grant<br />

Aided Expenditure. The <strong>accounts</strong> are available on the Board’s website (www.centralscotland.police.uk).<br />

Central Scotland Joint Valuation Board<br />

This Board is jointly administered by the <strong>Council</strong>s of Clackmannanshire, <strong>Falkirk</strong> and Stirling and appoints an Assessor for the valuation<br />

area who also acts as Electoral Registration Officer. The accounting period is to 31 March. <strong>Falkirk</strong> <strong>Council</strong> is requisitioned for 49.2% of<br />

expenditure, based on adjusted population. The <strong>accounts</strong> are available from Clackmannanshire <strong>Council</strong>.<br />
