ORDINANCE RELINQUISHING CONTROL OF A POR-
TION OF THE PORT ARRA AND TRANSFERRING
THE LANDS THEREIN TO THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OAKLAND.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Port Commissioners of
the City of Oakland as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board or Port Commissioners hereby relinquishes
to the Council of the City of Oakland the control
and jurisdiction of that portion of the "Port Area" particular
ly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of 8th
Street distant thereon easterly 750 feet from the eastern
line of Fallon Street, said point of beginning being also
on the boundary line of the "Port Area" in the City of
Oakland as described in Section 230 of the charter of the
said City, and running thence southwestwardly, parallel to
said Fallon Street to the northerly boundary line of the
parcel of land heretofore quitclaimed to the Central Pacific
Railroad Company by the Oakland Water Front Company by deed
dated March 1, 1898, and recorded in Deed Book 655, page
321, Alameda County Records; thence southeastwardly along
the said northerly boundary line of said parcel of land to
