.AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION<br />
OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES AND RIGHTS FOR THE<br />
DEVELOPMENT OF THE PORT OF OAKLAND AND ITS<br />
FACILITIES AND APPROACHES IN THE PORT AREA,<br />
APPROPRIATING THE SUM or 45,632.12, OR AS<br />
MUCH THEREOF AS MY BE NECESSARY, FROM THE<br />
1925 OAKTAND HARBOR IMPROV±MENT FUND, AND<br />
AUTHORIZING, EMPOWERING AND DIRECTING THE<br />
NECESSARY SrEPS TO BE TAKEN.<br />
BE IT ORDATNED by the Board <strong>of</strong> <strong>Port</strong> Commissioners<br />
<strong>of</strong> the city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oakland</strong> as follows:<br />
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the<br />
1925 oakland Harbor Improvement Fund, the sum <strong>of</strong> 45,632.12,<br />
or as much there<strong>of</strong> es may be neaessary, for the acquisition<br />
by the Uity <strong>of</strong> ORkland from E.. B. Stone, Trustee and William<br />
H. Stone, Trustee, and/or other lawful owners <strong>of</strong> certain land,<br />
properties and rights in the City <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oakland</strong> and the <strong>Port</strong><br />
Area there<strong>of</strong> on or near ban Leandro bay, all as more particularly<br />
hereinafter set forth, the acquisition there<strong>of</strong> being<br />
hereby found and determined to be necessary and convenient for<br />
the purposes <strong>of</strong> constructing channels for shipping and navigation<br />
and for the improvement and development <strong>of</strong> the harbor <strong>of</strong><br />
the City <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oakland</strong> and its facilities, and for other uses<br />
and purposes consistent with the requirements <strong>of</strong> commerce and<br />
navigation.<br />
bECTION 2. The terms, provisions and conditions<br />
herein provided for are hereby authorized and directed for<br />
meeting held<br />
