.AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES AND RIGHTS FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE PORT OF OAKLAND AND ITS
FACILITIES AND APPROACHES IN THE PORT AREA,
APPROPRIATING THE SUM or 45,632.12, OR AS
MUCH THEREOF AS MY BE NECESSARY, FROM THE
1925 OAKTAND HARBOR IMPROV±MENT FUND, AND
AUTHORIZING, EMPOWERING AND DIRECTING THE
NECESSARY SrEPS TO BE TAKEN.
BE IT ORDATNED by the Board of Port Commissioners
of the city of Oakland as follows:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
1925 oakland Harbor Improvement Fund, the sum of 45,632.12,
or as much thereof es may be neaessary, for the acquisition
by the Uity of ORkland from E.. B. Stone, Trustee and William
H. Stone, Trustee, and/or other lawful owners of certain land,
properties and rights in the City of Oakland and the Port
Area thereof on or near ban Leandro bay, all as more particularly
hereinafter set forth, the acquisition thereof being
hereby found and determined to be necessary and convenient for
the purposes of constructing channels for shipping and navigation
and for the improvement and development of the harbor of
the City of Oakland and its facilities, and for other uses
and purposes consistent with the requirements of commerce and
navigation.

herein provided for are hereby authorized and directed for
meeting held
