SAU offers More Life Scholarships<br />
GAYLORO — Spring Artxx University<br />
continues its commitment<br />
to help soften the impact of today's<br />
economic hardships by offering the<br />
More Life Scholarship. The university<br />
will award six More Ufe Scholarships<br />
in Febiuary, which vinll fulfill the university's<br />
pledge to grant 12 scholarships<br />
during the 2008-09 academic<br />
year. Six scholarships were awarded<br />
in September.<br />
\^lued at up to $20,000, the More<br />
Life Scholaiship provides compensation<br />
<strong>for</strong> the cost of tuition and books<br />
<strong>for</strong> qualified undergraduate and<br />
graduate programs offered at one of<br />
12 Spring Artxx University locations<br />
throughout Michigan. TTie deadline<br />
<strong>for</strong> applying <strong>for</strong> the scholarship is<br />
Ttiureday.Feb. 12.<br />

Since first introducing the More<br />
Life Scholarship in 2005. the University<br />
has awarded more than<br />
$300,000 in scholarships to adults<br />
finishing their degrees.<br />
More Life Scholarship qualified<br />
programs include the associate degree:<br />
accelerated bachelor's degree<br />
programs in family life education,<br />
management and organizatkxial devetopment.<br />
nursing, social work and<br />
business; and master's degree programs<br />
in organizational management<br />
counseling and family studies.<br />
The winners from this (all in-<br />
cluded Christine Lennon of Charlevoix:<br />
Mallory Vredeveld of Grand<br />
Rapids; Heather Czupteh of Carieton;<br />
dents must carry a 3.5 honor point<br />
average <strong>for</strong> a 12-credit load.<br />
