agricultural production in Jamaica
• Programme management for development - specific areas of trade and
economic policy, education and HIV-AIDS, child and reproductive health,
civil society mobilisation and participation, with gender and communication
for behaviour development as crosscutting elements, within a Human Rights
framework.
• Over twenty years of experience in international work covering the
Caribbean, Latin America and Africa, related to policy advocacy
and programming in the context of policy evolution in the World Bank,
International Monetary Fund, and other multilateral institutions including the
Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and the Economic Community of
West African States (ECOWAS).
• Over thirty years of management experience including as Coordinator of
the Caribbean Policy Development Centre and through the United Nations at
global, regional and national levels. Successfully managed multi-disciplinary
and multi-cultural teams of evolving size and complexity – from five with
three professionals, through 21-25 with 15-17 professionals, to a team of 70
with 7 international and 27 national professionals.
