The following organizations <strong>and</strong> agencies may<br />
provide support services through partnership, resource<br />
persons <strong>and</strong> resource material, for addressing gender<br />
equality <strong>and</strong> <strong>HIV</strong> <strong>and</strong> AIDS; towards gender equality<br />
mainstreaming in the <strong>HIV</strong> response.<br />
Issues may include gender role stereotypes that<br />
increase <strong>HIV</strong> vulnerability, gender power relations<br />
<strong>and</strong> imbalances, advocacy for human rights to<br />
correct gender related discrimination <strong>and</strong> gender<br />
based violence.<br />
They may be able to support behaviour change<br />
communication, training <strong>and</strong> creative facilitation,<br />
progamme development <strong>and</strong> implementation <strong>and</strong><br />
research from a gender perspective.
