Network of Industry RuhrOst conceived as a network of companies for companies, it is the objective of
the 50 NIRO-partners, with more than 10.000 employees regionally, to further strengthen the economic
and technological performance of metal and mechanical engineering and industrial electronics in the region.
Many companies are world market leaders or alternatively technology leaders in their segments. Through the
partnership and the exchange of experiences amongst each other, companies obtain concrete and real benefits,
such as the development of an electricity pool and the joint electronic procurement platform.
