While permissi<strong>on</strong> had been given to <strong>the</strong> setting up <strong>of</strong> a<br />

microph<strong>on</strong>e system <strong>and</strong> to <strong>the</strong> complete recording <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

proceedings, <strong>the</strong> Ministry <strong>of</strong> Justice stipulated that no tape-<br />

recorders were to be allowed inside <strong>the</strong> courtroom. 12 Such<br />

restricti<strong>on</strong> would have undoubtedly impaired <strong>the</strong> work <strong>of</strong> many<br />

corresp<strong>on</strong>dents wanting to incorporate voice inserts in <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
