Cross the golden gate Bridge into San Francisco.<br />
There’ll be time for a city tour with your tour<br />
leader and for visiting Union Square and<br />
Chinatown. Soak up the friendly atmosphere,<br />
wander the lively neighbourhoods, dine on<br />
delicious seafood and check out optional<br />
activities that include cable car rides.<br />
DAy 13: bIG SuR<br />
Drive along the magnificent coastal route,<br />
Highway 1. Your first stop is monterey, where<br />
you’ll have time to visit the legendary Cannery<br />
row, subject of John Steinbeck’s novel by the<br />
same name. From here it is on to the coast of<br />
Big Sur, with its coastal cliffs and redwood<br />
forests. You’ll camp the night near the coast and<br />
cosy up under the stars for more storytelling and<br />
indelible memories.<br />

California’s rugged coastline. Keep a look out<br />
for sea lions and brave surfers. You’ll camp<br />
