formed through countless movies, Tv shows
and educational "documentaries" about paris
Hilton. But picking one highlight is probably a
little harder. Thankfully you don't have to - this
tour bundles together loads of highlights from
the 'golden state' and even sneakily throws in
Nevada's gaming capital - Las vegas. So why is it
known as the 'golden state'? Well, not only was its
explosive growth due to the discovery of gold in
1848, but in springtime, fields of golden poppies
appear. There's also the golden gate Bridge of
San Francisco and of course, stunning golden
coastal sunsets over the pacific Ocean - California
well deserves its name. Kicking things off in Las
vegas, party deep into the night and try not to
get yourself accidentally married (however hot
your tour mates are). From here to the fantastic
cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles you've got
fascinating desert, stunning national parks and
picturesque coastal towns. Let's face it - a state
that has Arnie as its governor must be awesome
and definitely worth a vist. And what better way
to do it than with a big bunch of fellow young
people - every second is there to be experienced,
enjoyed and indulged.

DAy 1: lAS VEGAS
meet your crew before heading out to Sin City’s
flashiest party hotspots.
DAy 2: bASS lAkE
Say goodbye to the party in the desert and hello
to the outdoor adventures awaiting you in the
Sierra Nevada mountains. get your camera out
for photos of iconic Joshua trees, the famous
symbol of the mojave Desert, along the way.
For the next two nights you'll stay at a lakefront
chalet. From here you can relax in the stunning
mountain paradise of Bass Lake - swim, soak up
some sun and enjoy watersports. (D)
DAy 3: yoSEMITE NATIoNAl PARk
Spend the day in the beautiful natural surrounds
of Yosemite National park. marvel at the massive
el Capitan rock and the sheerest cliff in the USA,
Half Dome. You’ll see the breathtaking Yosemite
and Bridal veil Falls. Hike or bike along the park’s
trails to experience this unique environment with
its meadows, waterfalls and wildflowers firsthand

DAyS 4-6: SAN FRANCISCo
Head out of the mountains to one of America’s
most colourful cities. Fall under the city’s spell
and catch awesome bay views as you cross the
Oakland Bay and golden gate bridges. There’s so
much to do in this beautiful and cosmopolitan
city. ride the historic cable cars, shop in Union
Square, tour notorious Alcatraz island, stroll
through golden gate park or visit Fisherman’s

DAyS 2-5: SkI lAkE TAhoE (DEC - MAR)
if you’re travelling between December and march,
this tour packs in three days of snow sports
action at Lake Tahoe (instead of Lake Bass and
Yosemite). The area is legendary for skiing and
snowboarding - or try out one of the many other
snow activities like iceskating, snowshoeing,
snowmobiling or sledding. When you’re ready to
start the après ski fun, get into the lake’s high
energy nightlife with its vegas-style casinos and
big name entertainment. You’ll head to charming
San Francisco on Day Five. (2B, 2D)
DAy 7: SANTA bARbARA & CARPINTERIA
Journey south to the lush, sundrenched American
riviera. Kick back on the beach and hit the
shops and galleries in Santa Barbara. Then
stay overnight in the beautiful coastal town of
Carpinteria. (D)
DAy 8: loS ANGElES
motor down the spectacular Californian coastline
before stopping at LA’s famous outdoor market,
The grove, where you can pick up a tasty
lunch. Afterwards head over to star-studded
Hollywood, where you can see the Kodak
Theatre which is home to the Oscars, the famous
Hollywood Sign, mann’s Chinese Theatre and
Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Then it's time to wrap
up your USA adventure and say farewell to your
