Drive through Southern California’s deserts. Admire spectacular desert<br />
plants and striking rock formations. Cross the Colorado river into Arizona.<br />

Spanning 450km, up to 30km wide and 1600m deep, it is inspiring,<br />
breathtaking and magnificent. Hike around and into the canyon.<br />

go west on route 66. Arrive into big bright lights and enjoy the glitterati!<br />

DAy 7: yoSEMITE NATIoNAl PARk<br />
From its cascading waterfalls to its gemstone lakes, Yosemite National<br />
park truly will impress with jaw-dropping beauty at every turn.<br />
DAy 8: SAN FRANCISCo<br />
Bike the golden gate Bridge or visit Fisherman's Wharf before heading off.<br />

<strong>Travel</strong> through the rugged landscape of Six rivers National Forest.<br />
Dwarfed by a volcano, Crater Lake is the deepest natural lake in<br />
North America.<br />
DAy 5: oREGoN DuNES<br />
reach this unique area where amazing sand dunes rise from the shores of<br />
the pacific Ocean. Try dune buggy rides and other adventurous activities.<br />

Hike among forested canyons to some of the park’s ten waterfalls.<br />

Drive through portland to mt St Helens which erupted in 1980 and still<br />
dominates the horizon. Trek up to mt rainier, also active and covered in<br />
glaciers. Wind things up in Seattle, known as the ‘emerald City’.<br />
