week jaunt across the wild, Wild West. Follow
in the footsteps of dangerous outlaws, rugged
wranglers and heroic sheriffs and check out
some of the country’s most dandy landscapes.
You certainly won’t be a lone ranger as you
ride side-saddle with a big bunch of fellow
greenhorns, stampeding through California,
Arizona and Nevada in search of good times
and new experiences. Whatever your favourite
western movie is, now is the time to live it out.
‘The good, the Bad and the Ugly’ - we’re sure
you’ll be able to pick them out from amongst
your group; ‘The magnificent Seven’ - shots of
tequila perhaps; or ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ - waiting
for you when you get lucky in vegas. You’ll
explore the raw landscapes of the grand Canyon,
Yosemite National park and the mojave Desert
and check out loads of fine cities – the beaches
of San Diego, the desert atmosphere of phoenix
and the unrivalled cool of San Francisco. This
itinerary will blow away any lingering scepticism
about the beautiful United States and replace it
with a passionate, life long affection that’ll keep

DAy 1: loS ANGElES
meet up with your crew and fellow travellers and
head south to San Diego. Tap into the ‘California
Dream’ on a tour through the city’s most vibrant
neighbourhoods. Head out to a party at a hip
downtown club or sip cocktails at a chic rooftop
lounge and be a part of the city’s highlife. (D)
DAy 2: SAN DIEGo
Located right by the pacific Ocean, discover what
'America’s Finest City' has to offer – 70 miles of
beaches, a world famous zoo, sailors, surfers,
shopping, not to mention some of the world’s
finest weather. You'll check out Downtown,
Balboa park, Coronado island and mission Beach
(weather permitting). (B)
DAy 3: PhoENIX
Leave the beach behind and head through the
Anza Borrego and the Sonoran Desert towards
phoenix. This metropolitan desert oasis reaches
sizzling temperatures throughout the summer. (B)
DAyS 4-5: GRAND CANyoN NATIoNAl PARk
From the ‘valley of the Sun’, journey through
beautiful Oak Creek Canyon to the majestic
grand Canyon with a stop in idyllic Sedona,
nestled in ‘red-rock country’. go shopping for
some unique Native American jewellery, before
you arrive at one of nature’s true splendours.
get up close and personal with this phenomenal
natural wonder. The dazzling colours, intricate
rock formations and sheer size of the grand
Canyon will leave you speechless. visit a
panoramic viewpoint, hike along the canyon rim
or take an optional helicopter flight for a truly
amazing perspective of what lies below. (B, D)
DAyS 6-7: lAS VEGAS
enjoy one of the world’s most iconic drives as
you get your kicks on route 66, headed for
the bright lights of Las vegas. it’s all glitz and
glamour as you hang out on The Strip, relax by
the pool and check out Sin City’s flashiest party
hotspots. Just about anything is possible in this
outrageously OTT city. included is an evening
illumination tour and a visit to famous Fremont

DAyS 8-9: bASS lAkE & yoSEMITE N.P
Say goodbye to the party in the desert and
hello to the adventres awaiting you in the Sierra
Nevada mountains. You’ll travel through the
mystical mojave Desert as you head to Bass
Lake. enjoy the diverse beauty of Yosemite
National park, from its mountains and meadows
to its waterfalls, wildflowers and world famous
rock formations, such as el Capitan. Hike and
bike around (weather permitting) and soak up
the awesome natural surroundings. (B, 2D)
DAyS 8-11: SkI lAkE TAhoE (DEC-MAR)
if you’re travelling between December and march,
this tour packs in three days of snow sports
action at Lake Tahoe (instead of Yosemite). Hit
the slopes of three world class resorts. The area
is legendary for skiing and snowboarding. Or
try out one of the many other snow activities
like iceskating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or
sledding. When you’re ready to start the après
ski fun, get into the lake’s high energy nightlife
with its vegas-style casinos and big name
entertainment. You’ll head to San Francisco on
