Undertake regular maintenance of vehicles and machinery to identify and repair minor leaks.
Develop (or maintain and adapt) procedures for the safe transport, handling and storage of potential
pollutants.
Use spill prevention measures such as drip trays during refuelling, bunds around storage tanks, etc. to
capture spills and contain any leaks.
Ensure all on site staff are trained in the use of spill prevention measures.
Clean up any spills (including existing spills) immediately, through containment and removal of free
product and appropriate rehabilitation or disposal of contaminated soils.
