Ratom is now in its fourth year on campus. It is
modeled after Mortar Board, a national senior
women's honorary society. Ratom will apply for
membership in Mortar Board after serving a five
year probationary period.
Chosen in the spring semester of their junior
year on the basis of scholarship, leadership, and
Ratorn
overall service to the University, Ratom members
are outstanding senior women. Picked by the
Ratom members of the proceeding year, the new
members must have a grade point which is 4/10
of a point above the average of all women on the
University campus and must display active and
enthusiastic participation in campus events.
