Stop Tubes <strong>are</strong> designed to reduce the piston rod bush<strong>in</strong>g<br />

stress to with<strong>in</strong> the designed range of the bear<strong>in</strong>g material.<br />

This will <strong>in</strong>sure proper cyl<strong>in</strong>der performance, <strong>in</strong> any given<br />

application. Stop Tubes lower cyl<strong>in</strong>der bear<strong>in</strong>g stress by<br />

add<strong>in</strong>g length to the piston, which <strong>in</strong>creases the over<strong>all</strong><br />

length of the cyl<strong>in</strong>der.<br />
