Replace the Firing Pin in the Bolt: Rotate the bolt with the long groove facing in the upward position. Insert the firing pin while pushing the cylindrical portion of the firing pin forward see figures 5-4 & 5-5). Figure 5-4. Cylindrical Portion of Firing Pin Figure 5-5. Replace the Bolt into the Carrier: Align the notch on the firing pin with the groove on the sliding cam. Push the rotating bolt to the rear while turning the rotating bolt in a clockwise motion (see figures 5-6 & 5-7). Figure 5-6.
