Rachel M. Fertik ’91 sent a note from
Mongolia specifically intended for Jack
Briggs, her third grade teacher. “His lessons
on China, and the Great Wall particularly,
were incredibly memorable and vivid. So
much so, that when I recently visited there
for the first time, I thought back to those
days (1982-1983!) and recounted the stories
he told us to Jon, my boyfriend and
travel partner, as we were hiking along the
wall between Jinshanling and Simitai.”
Mara Collins Callihan ’92 writes: “My
the pleasure of attending the wedding of
of each other’s lives after all this time.
Congrats, Lauren!”
Daniel Colon ’96 writes that he has been
awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student scholarship
to Chile in Latin American and
Brazilian Literature. “Also, I was not able
