CHESAPEAKE CHALLENGE 40
on the Bricks of Everedy Square and Shab Row
Chesapeake Region invites all of its members and friends to celebrate the 40th
annual Chesapeake Challenge, the oldest running multi-event weekend in PCA,
on Saturday, September 26th in Frederick, Maryland. For 2009, we are reprising
last year’s highly successful and popular one day format, providing a full Saturday's
worth of activities that will offer tremendous value (and a few surprises) for
your registration fee- not to mention a chance to make a little history at the very
first ever downtown Chesapeake Challenge. And since this is the 40th Challenge,
we’re inviting PCA’s Boxster Registry, whose cars and owners comprise one of
the newer but more enthusiastic segments of PCA.
This year's Challenge Concours d’Elegance and Car Show will be center stage on
the bricks at Frederick’s Everedy Square and Shab Row, a delightfully quaint
shopping and dining area in the older section of town just east of Main Street,
Frederick, Maryland. Challenge Concours competitors will stage in the Everedy
Square area as well as at several dedicated parking lots across and up the street,
which promise cool shade and plenty of room. Our Porsches will be artfully ar-
