What makes Bruchsal so attractive is its combination of a mild,
almost Mediterranean climate and a vibrant history. The local Baden
asparagus that thrives here is very special, with a distinctive
flavor. Bruchsal also offers cultural experiences. With its famous
staircase by Balthasar Neumann, the magnificent baroque palace
is an architectural jewel. It houses three museums, including the
Museum of German Mechanical Musical Instruments. Another
highlight is the baroque Church of St. Peter.
