Known for its healthy climate and mineral baths, Bad Urach is

In the middle of the beautiful
Maisen Valley on the outskirts
of town, the Urach waterfall
is probably the most beautiful
waterfall in the Swabian
Mountains.
Ellwangen offers both culture and nature. Dominating the beautiful
historic downtown is the 12th-century Basilica of St Vitus,
surrounded by baroque houses. In the old castle, a museum
reflects the former splendor of the royal residents, while the elaborate
baroque Schönenberg Church has long been a pilgrimage
destination. The Jagst River valley, flanked by thick forest, makes
Ellwangen an ideal base for walking and cycling. At the end of
the day, enjoy Swabian dishes in the informal restaurants.
