The camp-festival started in 2002
with the aim of maintaining the
tradition of bagpipe playing. There
is always another instrument as
well, for example Jew’s harp, violin
or zither. The campers are supervised
by prominent Estonian bagpipe
players and one from abroad.
The festival ends with a huge concert
in the Town Hall Park in Viljandi.
