Corelli Music festival “The Towers of<br />
Tallinn” brings together the history of<br />
Tallinn and contemporary achievements,<br />
introducing the city’s famous<br />
silhouette through different eras of<br />
music. The towers of the city wall,<br />
churches, modern skyscrapers, the<br />
whole city is filled with music, from<br />
the Middle Ages and Baroque to folk<br />
melodies, jazz and contemporary<br />
music. Thus, architecture, history<br />
and performers - everyone tells their<br />
own stories, from the times of Lindanise<br />
and Kolyvan, to the present day.<br />

The festival promotes violin-playing<br />
in national style and making<br />
music together. Violin students of<br />
various music schools and violinplayers<br />
in folk groups participate<br />
in a study camp. Besides campers,<br />
several prominent folk music ensembles<br />
perform at the concert as<br />
well.
